Needham Ink Technologies ended 2022 by scooping up a prestigious industry award that saw them named the Best Marking & Traceability Technology Company in 2022 in the UK Enterprise Awards hosted by SME News.
Needham Ink Tech specialise in the coding and marking industry, selling continuous inkjet printers and manufacturing compatible ink for most CIJ printers on the market. The company was founded in 1962 and has built lifelong partnerships over the 60 years with its customers, sharing our knowledge and expertise to find innovative solutions.
The award sees Needham Ink Technologies recognised for our constant innovation in the marking and traceability industry, as well as the work our research and development team achieve on a daily basis in formulating new inks for the global market we serve.

Continuous inkjet printers are integral to manufacturing for traceability purposes and allows our customers to mark their products with serial numbers, batch codes and barcodes to ensure that each product can be accounted for further down the supply chain. Currently, CIJ technology is the most commonly used method of applying codes to products.
As well as selling continuous inkjet printers, the company also have a range of thermal inkjet printers, the company also has a sister company that manufactures and specialises in fiber laser marking technologies.
