Use this quick diagnostic method to confirm if your CM750’s product sensor (photocell) is working or needs replacing.
Why test it?
The photocell triggers the print based on product detection. If it’s faulty or misaligned, you’ll see missed prints, double prints, or no print at all.
How to test the photocell

Go to
System > Diagnostics > Sensor Test

Position a product or hand in front of the photocell

Observe the screen – the signal should register ON/OFF

If nothing changes:
- Check alignment
- Clean sensor lens
- Inspect cable connection
Fault signs

Continuous “ON” or “OFF” state

No response during triggering

Unstable print timing or misfires

Re-seat the connector

Replace the sensor
