What’s the correct startup and shutdown routine for the CM750?

Follow these startup and shutdown steps to keep your printer clean, reliable, and ready for your next job.

Why it matters

Incorrect shutdowns cause dried ink, blocked nozzles, and startup delays. The built-in CM750 routines help prevent these issues with minimal effort.


Startup routine

  1. Ensure ink and solvent tanks are filled

  2. Power on the printer

  3. Allow the system to reach “Ready” status

  4. Test stream formation with strobe light

  5. Load and print your message


Shutdown routine (end of shift or break)

  1. Go to System > Maintenance

  2. Run Drain if stopping for more than 2 days

  3. Run Fill Mixer

  4. Run Park

  5. Wait for process to complete, then power off
