How to test valve solenoids on the CM750

Test individual valves on your CM750 to troubleshoot flow blockages or ink path faults without dismantling the system.

What valves control

Each valve directs ink or solvent through the system:

  • Valve 4: Main ink supply

  • Valve 5: Return line

  • Valve 6, 11, 12: Umbilical purge and cleaning

  • Valve 13: Mixer fill

How to test valves

  1. Go to System > Maintenance > Diagnostics

  2. Open Valve Test

  3. Select a valve and activate it

  4. Listen for a click (physical movement)

  5. If silent or unresponsive:
     - Check wiring
     - Replace solenoid if needed

What a faulty valve causes

  • No ink flow

  • Failed Clean Ink System routines

  • Incorrect fluid mix

  • Umbilical purge errors
